Applications are invited during April/May each year for students wishing to benefit from the scholarship program in September/October that same year.

• Undergraduate Students: Tuition fees only, from the second year through to completion.
• Postgraduate Students: Tuition fees for the entire programme, starting from the time of application or award.

Please note: Retakes in one or more subjects will lead to automatic withdrawal of the scholarship and will not be funded by the Trust.

The Board of Trustees has identified the following disciplines as eligible for funding:

Actuarial Science, Agriculture, Architecture, Biology, Chemistry, Commerce, Engineering, Environmental Studies, Food Science & Technology, Hotel Management, Information Technology, Human Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Veterinary Medicine

Note: The Board reserves the right to revise this list periodically, based on national priorities in capacity building.

No. The scholarship is open only to Ugandan citizens.

No. The scholarship is only available for students pursuing studies at universities and institutions within Uganda.

The selection process is based on:

• Academic performance (CGPA or class of degree, academic references)
• Financial need (of the applicant, parents, family, and/or spouse)
• Age and character
• Postgraduate applicants with relevant work experience will have an added advantage

The Scholarship Committee may also consider factors such as gender, regional balance, and disability in cases of strong competition.

The Foundation reserves the right to verify all information provided. Any form of canvassing will lead to immediate disqualification.

No. While the Foundation may provide recommendations to prospective employers, it does not guarantee employment. However, some past recipients have successfully secured roles within the Madhvani Group.
